Those countries are wrong too. The free movement of people has been one of the finest thing western governments have achieved in modern times. And yes, I hope it (Brexit) does go belly up, especially if it's the illiberal hard sort that seems to be the case. Anyone familiar with network theory will be only to conscious of how contagious certain behaviours can be, and the world will be a significantly poorer place if more countries are led by the Trumps and Farages of this world.
Bruce our minimum wage is going up what is wrong in only letting anyone in the world move here on a work visa ie they have a job to come too to let them come freely is madness and cannot be sustained on services etc
The out vote won perhaps this was one item to leave the EU, it's not racist as if you try to move to Canada or the USA or New Zealand , and Australia etc they all have a points or visa system in place what is wrong with that?
I remind you the EU/common market started off with a handful of countries its now 28 and going higher in the future!

I dont know what you do for a job but try moving to a country I mention they will not open the door to you without looking at you credentials before granting that move!
Nothing wrong with it I know many friends who have moved to the USA and Australia all had to meet criteria before the move ok!

Really corporation tax lowered would not attract businesses and create employment ????????????????????????

I doubt that we could lower it to match the Republic of Ireland who are within the EU, giving them an advantage anyhow.

Quite riddiculous to suggest that increasing barriers to trade and hiring would be good for employment.

The economic case may or may not be proven. Personally I wanted out from the control of the EU commission and all the nonsense that goes with it. I want the ultimate political figure directly controlling my country to be someone that resulted either from my vote or from the vote of others within the UK, and whom can be removed by the ballot box. If there is an economic price to pay then so be it. There is more at stake than simple economics......
So I guess you want the royal family and House of Lords abolished too, if it's a case of undemocratic structures. ...

My thoughts are with those who have suffered from abuse since the opinion poll was counted, with those who have been told to f off back home. If you're upset by what I wrote about then frankly you can cry me a river.

These things do unfortunately happen Bruce, in every society. And just like we have rapists and murderers, we might wish for them not to exist, but they do. In the same way that a few Scots were nasty to the English during their in/out vote, we could not accuse all SNP voters of the crime. There were even people from London fighting each other the other night because of a game of football. It's madness but it happens everywhere......

Look i was just pointing out that on LBC and you may care to listen to that radio programme its just a guess this type of suggestion was baited to get Nissan not only to stay , but make expansion in the UK - the EU may start off being belligerent to us but hopefully a deal can be done without open borders of free movement trade is good with them, I voted twice to trade with them - not to be politically dictated by them ok!

No mate. The Queen cannot tell us what to do, neither can the House of Lords. What they can do is give advice and reflection over the actions of the people we vote to run the country. It does actually work....

It really hasn't been. The free movement of people that we have seen over the past few decades has been a disaster, largely because it has been conducted on capital's terms (edit: ie that they have profited hugely from it, without paying the required amount to deal with any of the consequences).

Do you reckon you could post this a few more times? I don't think you've made the point.

How does creaing trade and movement barriers attract business?

Those other countries aren't right either.

So you're cool with the idea of a second referendum - if things aren't looking great in a couple of years time, or when the deal is announced?

Look do not ridicule me if you are losing an argument now pack it in ok!
You post the same points just stop it please you are pushing the boundaries of the forum ...............lol:bye:

Mate, I'm not losing an argument. Your constant revisionism to make this all about different posters 'ridiculing' you would suggest that you're struggling.
