roydo
in memoriam - 1965-2024
It was roydo's analogy, I just corrected it.......
Not really, I was just making the point that there is more to membership than just sinking £8.5 Billion into it.
And tbf, it wasnt actually aimed at you.

No it was at me lolNot really, I was just making the point that there is more to membership than just sinking £8.5 Billion into it.

I guessed that, but did you like the updated analogy......
On the plus point when we leave the EU we may get some of are decent weed killers back which will see your bamboo off that Glyphosate will need doing three times in a year just been looking for you sbk brushwood killer is an alternative to glyphosate both good for your needsLike all analogies, they are simple examples to illustrate a wider point.
In yours you bring up trade balances for example.
But my point has been that somehow we will need to replace the GDP which is currently attributable to the EU. I think you accept that.
I also think we can, and will.
And if that can be achieved at a cost to the country in terms of tax revenue, government aid, etc etc of less than £8.5 Billion, then sound.
Not sure it can be, and wouldnt have taken the risk.

I'm not sure it can either in the short term, it will in the long term, but to get out of the control from Brussels it's well worth it........

Don't see the problem with this.
Quite so, lets keep our fingers crossed, the politicians use common sense.
