It's not intended for UK nationals whatsoever. Are the millions of foreign citizens working and living in this country not entitled to use the services they pay their taxes for? Good grief.

Wee have reciprocal healthcare with the EU - for the time being.

In future (Post-brexit) won't go abroad without health insurance, nor should anyone coming here. Those with visas & such there'll be different rules applying I'd imagine.

Joey, please don't click on net contributions. I swear they've cooked the books.;)

Incorrect figures again.

Must be about the tenth time you got this particular figure wrong.

I think he's talking about maternity tourism. As in deliberately planning to travel here shortly before giving birth.

St George’s University Hospitals Foundation trust said the problem of maternity tourism was escalating at hospitals across the country.

It said it had fallen victim to “organised illegal activity” which has seen conmen making money by charging women from Nigeria to have babies on the NHS.

The trust said it was now proposing a “blanket” approach to all women in order to avoid charges of discrimination.

Again, I can't see how action to eradicate that practice is a bad thing, otherwise why have rules at all.

We're at a time when this government are about to commit the biggest act of financial harikiri in a generation, yet we're supposed to believe they've developed a sense of economic prudence all of a sudden? This is nothing but a sop to the racists in their party who scarcely need a closet to hide in these days.

You can't complain about the tyrany of Brussels and then forgo mentioning they tyrany of Westminster over Scotland.

Scotland is part of the UK, the UK is a member state of the EU, Scotland is not. Scotland is a semi autonomous region of the UK.

For me, I wish Sturgeon would just get on with it and call a fresh independence vote. Why is she not doing so that is the question you should ask.

Heard it mentioned the other day that the polls show she would lose a new independence vote if it was done now.

My missus worked at St George's mate, I'm well aware that there are incidences of this going on. In the grand scheme of things though it is a drop in the ocean and at the current time merely stokes the fire of anger and division that is running riot through the Tory party. Pretty much everything they utter at the moment either directly or subtly says that 'foreigner=bad'. It's shameful.

Every little drops count!
