If you really meant it for the future then fine, you could have said that last night of course.....
What a load of gloating whimps of remoaners their are on here so Unilever a anglo dutch company sold off by previous governments like the rest of our industries have pre decided to play dirty with tesco which will be resolved today by the way!
I am of an age when my mother told me about the hardship of food rationing in this country and how we fought the Germans in world war 2 for our own freedom, and the sacrifice was well worth it - they had to eat whale meat - rabbit pies etc etc it was a struggle -but worth it for our own freedom sovereignty back!
I warned people on here it would get bumpy but I feel I can do without branston Pickle and Tom and Jerrys ice cream in fact anything like that in thoses days the people would in future boycott those goods!
Its big business flexing its muscles, now back tracking to now do a deal today!
as for petrol going up the oil price has risen so yes blame Brexit - perhaps the £ being low now the difficulties lie ahead it does not help when our politicians go against the brexit vote a division in society that firms greed will size upon like unilever !
I warned everyone on here the EU are big bullies and expect to be bullied we have to stand up to them win and become a better country by leaving on our terms which the current government our quite correct you can not show your hand of poker to them first then try and negotiate, as they would slaughter us we would lose even more funds !!!!!
I knew this would be constructed to cause panic if we had the Milibands and Cleggs and the Corbyn's patriotism of the RE moaners world war two would have been well and truly lost!

i think it would be best not to refer to people as 'remoaners'

also comparing brexit to world war 2 is weird

also trade negotiating isnt like poker

They've been "blown apart" because they all now have to be renegotiated as a result of impending Brexit, meaning the previous relationships cease to exist once the new ones are agreed

You're essentially arguing semantics

There's was free movement and free trade between UK & ROI long before the EU and it will remain so. The Ireland Act 1947 is statute and is unaffected by repeal of article 50.

There will be no checkpoints (barring security threats but those days are hopefully long gone). There will be no tariffs. There will be free movement for work and residence. There will be full citizenship available on both sides. It will be unaffected. And as an Ulstermen I'm glad. But the hysteria is so misguided.

Well we have moved on quite a bit since then mate so not really sure the relevance any more.

Further to my comments about our trading relationships being "blown apart" by Brexit, I thought it would interesting to see what the WTO has to say on a post Brexit UK and it's relationship with the WTO.....

In a recent interview with Reuters, Azevedo (WTO Director General ) passed the following comments:

On the UK and the EU's status within the WTO post Brexit:

"It is very likely that both the EU and the UK will have to negotiate with all WTO members," Azevedo said.

I don't see how just negotiating with the EU is going to obviate the necessity to establish what the parameters are between the UK and all other WTO members," Azevedo said.

On how long negotiations would take:

"It could be a few years, it could be decades. But our experience suggests that to expect smooth sailing and quick results would be a high-risk bet."

The EU has not yet finalised its WTO rights after enlarging to 25, 27 and finally 28 member states, which could add a further level of complication.

"It is not far-fetched to imagine that some members may say that it's difficult to negotiate the Brexit terms with both the EU and the UK while the current status of the EU membership is not fully ascertained," Azevedo said.

That red headed nationalist you mean wanting independence for Scotland only if it is bank rolled by the UK!
Yet the UK win the vote for independence and she whines and moans!
double standards shes a bleep bleep cow

your very excitable..

it is an interesting point when a whole country votes to remain
