The Irish border issue is more to do with non EU people than EU nationals. The last thing the Irish government want is a Calais situation arising on the border between the north and south, if the UK put border controls in place. As far as EU nationals go the Irish government cannot stop them coming to Ireland under the EU free movement arrangements.

They can of course stop the non EU nationals entering the country.....

Yeah that's right mate, we should stop talking about it.
Its not you its the stupid MPS we want to see your plan on leaving the EU they should be asking the EU oh I forgot they will not talk until article 50 is signed!
So the MPs in unity should have respected the peoples vote even areas where the constituencies voted out on mass were at it yesterday Millaband for one!

I'd be happy for a border between north and south tbh, the more bricks between me and Belfast the better.

It is not surprising that there are discussions about Brexit and the WTO. Maybe when the UK formally invokes Article 50, I would imagine that, given there is a two year period for Brexit negotiations then, the UK would also use that time to have ready their new arrangements with the WTO.

To be honest, and it's far from snobbery, it doesn't take a genius to work out that the majority of people who voted to leave were either stuck in the past, die hard union jack boxer short wearing biffs, or those swept along in the wave of nationalism and against those foreign types thanks to big Nige and self interest guru Boris.

We were told it would have a massive effect on the economy and low and behold it is! Just when we were more stable after the 2008 recession and things were looking a tad rosier.

You can't blame people for not accepting something so crass that they did not vote for.

Can you?

I think you should look again at the distribution over the country of the split between the two camps.

A bit unfair to say the voters to leave are as you describe them implying that the voters to remain are exactly the opposite, highly intelligent superior beings!!

Me I do not wish to be part of a USE which is where it was heading.

I think you need to re-read what I said, there was no use of the past tense.
All that is true I feel article 50 will get signed more quickly than you think after unilevers stance which by the way will be resolved today as the EU are bully boys stated it many times on this thread!
They do not like defeat or as corporal jones used to say they dont like it up um!lol
