keir starmer doing a decent job thus far?
A highly rated human right lawyer unfortunately he will not want us to leave the EU as he may lose work ? - never the less he looks a more polished leader than Corbyn - named after by his parents from a council estate after the first Labour prime minister its him they need really to take on May
I like the sounds of him maybe a leader of the future but sorry while Corbyn is there I cannot accept a party within a party called momentum another word for the militant tendency within the party - why not just have a young Labour group that is vetted - etc that lot imo are doing harm!
It needs a strong leader to stop this nonsense PLP of the Labour party having bricks put through their windows the anti semitism group communist form the AWL who have infiltrated the party since Corbyn was elected as leader?
Getting back to Keir early days , but yes he looks and is 100 times better than Corbyn but would he ever get voted in under the present Labour leadership rules??????????????????

They are intertwined. I gave my opinion on why we should leave both. We will have better access to trade markets now. People just don't want to realise it. The only countries who will try to hit us for Tariffs are big ones who think they can afford to. And there aren't too many around....
They're not intertwined, you argument is confused. We can leave the EU and retain single market access.

There'll be import tariffs on 44% of our exports that go to the EU if we give up access and end up on WTO tariffs. So our goods will become uncompetitive in our largest market.

That's before you factor in the difficulties that being outside of the single market will do to the supply chain btw, as our goods won't get speedy clearance, and in the world of just in time deliveries, not to mention perishables, that's not a good thing.

What were your views on Progress? The 'Blairite' group who really had a controlling interest in New Labour.

positive for a few reasons which can be negotiated the car industry yes important the banking sector yes but they are sucking us dry - the rest is a political nightmare dont for get we have a net loss of 8-10 billion pounds each year on a rising scale if our GDP growth rises utter robbery!
The £8-10BN means jack, if the Treasury forecast of a GDP drop of up to £66BN a year if we go down the 'hard brexit' route is even vaguely correct.

Pinched from a newspaper:

'If you still believe Britain will get a sweet deal out of Brexit because "the EU needs the UK more than vice versa", ask yourself: why don't we hear European politicians pleading with Britain "not to punish the EU over Brexit"?'

The UK doesn't have a net lose of 8-10 billion each year.

think back to when the result was announced not many complementary soundbites then was there - Sarkozi from France trying to get back in power as stated if he gets in he would have given the UK anything for us to stay in he implied may to hold on to signing article 50 as he would give us a package that would suit us , that's the best I have heard, but he has to get 26 countries to agree with him!
Just look how the EU has treated Greece - Italy - Spain and southern Ireland as the voted a treaty out bu were bullied into having another referendrum to vote yes by withholding funds to them!
if it was just trade I would have voted to stay in - its a political union that has rose with out consensus hence the NO OUT victory!
to try and turn the vote around in any way is a disservice to the electorate, I just hope common sense prevails no one deported an option to use the single market as need be and let us trade worldwide win the WTO nothing wrong in that?
what have we heard you cant have your cake and eat it when we have ploughed in over the years 500 billion!
