I had a bet with myself that would be your response.
Starmer is not in the Government. It is they who are responsible. You would be better asking where they are. Your Dorries like attempts at deflection are as comical as hers.

I only asked the question because the BBC are saying that Starmer will be telling us all, very very soon, what we should do to beat this…but hey Ho, I’m off to the pub….

Even if he does, so what? The current issues are the responsibility of the Government to solve. That’s the bit that JRM, Nads and you seem to struggle with.

I see the Butthurt Society are out in force again today.

Go and hold your own little party...

Not really mate. Its more of a wake most days. Just waiting for the benefits that everyone was promised. Till then, unlike you, we will keep the sparklers in their packet.

But, being intrigued, what part of what Rees Mogg, Davies, and Johnson said, did you believe?

Roydo, this was covered a long time ago. Don't know why so many remainers cannot grasp it.
Neither the 'Remain' nor 'Leave' campaigns could promise anything, as they were both simply campaigning factions, who role ended come voting day. Neither campaign carried any Executive power to implement anything - that power rested with the Government of the day, and well you know it.

And, as I've posted previously, and you have read, I made my own mind up re remaining in the EU or not. Based on Cameron being knocked back by the EU on a whole range of issues a matter of several weeks before the vote (and being made a total fool in the process!), and the EU's response to matters like refusing the UK Government permission to help support our steel industry, and funding the removal of a particular part of the car/van industry in this country to a non-EU country.

I concluded (right or wrong in whosever eyes) that the EU bureaucracy didn't give a crap about the UK. But they were happy to take our £££. So, they can shove it!

Now, people can reply to this post, but I'm outta this thread, so I won't even be reading it...
