*cough* its got nothing to do with Brexit *cough*

Said in jest DGLC, yet you are actually correct.

The fact that NI still has benefit of open borders and access to EU under the Protocol, while also accessing the GB market means NI has the best of all worlds.

But Jeffrey has persuaded broom head Johnson that the Protocol is a terrible thing.

What about a 6 counties referendum on the Protocol?

It is a terrible thing. It illustrates how damaging Brexit has been.

FIFTY YEARS THOUGH.

It actually doesn't the report is ignoring that by taking back control, fleg and kultural industrial centres where built across the north. Thus with the increased gurning from the Dup, there was a knock-on boost to employment, construction and sales.
Also the sharp rise in fuel has seen an unprecedented cross-community divergence into renewables across the province. Particularly within Belfast with the summer approaching and the annual stockpiling of petrol bombs beginning in earnest. Colour coordinated solar panels have brought a carnival feel to the city and Stormont has become an industrial centre for methane production almost to the same scale as Westminster or Leinster House.

Aye, but you're ignoring the depression on regional economies on the mainland.

Been have a few chats with people in my family and a few mates that voted out.
Most think it's been handled terribly and wouldn't have voted for the current situation.
Have to hold your hands up sometimes and just say it like it is.

More people need to be honest about the situation. No-one likes to admit they’ve been conned, but a lot of time, effort and money went into the con.
