U.K. and ROI have had a CTA since before the EU was even born. ROI citizens are allowed full access to any part of the U.K. and vice versa. The rest of the EU have no such agreement, if they wish to visit any part of the U.K. they have to follow normal 3rd country regulations. The principle is sound and I doubt very much that there will be any border checks, it will be all electronic…..

That's a lovely technocratic answer Pete, one that an EU type in Brussels would be proud of*, but I suspect this is more about a border on the island or Ireland issue.
