Another Brexit bonus, this time for the bees...There will be no lowering of standards, something, something.

Not just bees mate, it apparently does its stuff on us too. That's cool though, we need companies to be able to plant the same crops again and again in the same place and not have to endure a 5pc reduction in yield because they've created an ideal place for pests.

Another Brexit bonus soon deflated and widely predicted, increases in haulage wages and others would soon disappear in black hole of cost of living crisis and inflation.

Hahaha, pay rises...

I do wonder how this, when the main way to get a rise is move to another job, is going to affect the (st)ability of companies going forward.

Not too good apparently...

No schadenfreude intended but I could see this coming..

As a retired Irish Civil Servant, I had lots of dealings with the EU and regular meetings in Brussels. They could really wear one's patience, but we hang in there because the benefits of an open market of 500 million people far outweighs going off in a huff and voting to leave

I am really sorry for UK employees who will find their jobs gone. Then again some crazy voting by constituencies that were so reliant on EU access.

Pumping raw crap into the rivers and now Bee genocide... England is at last free, just glad such matters are devolved and again protected from libertarian weirdos.

You what, red tape... If Brexit has been anything like success that Christmas eve 2020 address to the nation that Boris promised, partying at in lockdown would been water off a ducks back. He would have most likely gotten away with the poor pandemic handling despite bigger deaths and harder lockdown than many similar countries. Boris and his incompetent government have literally car crashed the British economy.

So, where is the marvellous EU in all of this. We have Germany refusing U.K. flights to bring in defensive arms from the U.K. to Ukraine and Germany refusing to give export licenses to Lithuania to do similar. So once again, we have just the USA and U.K. looking out for Europe while the rest of the EU worries about its gas supplies or argues with itself to determine a common approach. Absolutely disgraceful. The EU is a wonderful bully, until it is faced with actual force…..

Remember all that crap about the EU keeping peace in Europe. They didn’t. It was the USA and U.K. no one else did. Now we have a real event and Germany immediately looked after itself, France has done nothing as usual, the rest of Europe would no doubt want to do something but somehow the EU has gone into self isolation… personally I’d leave them to it……

I read that Russia is now undertaking naval military exercises off the coast of western Ireland. Obviously in international waters. So I assume that the EU is sending a suitable force to shadow this, or is it being left to the few boats that Ireland has……,
