Ah... but I and millions like me would have been worse off in the EU.

Were we acceptable collateral damage?
I don't know man from this side of the Atlantic it feels like more people have been harmed than helped by the whole Brexit mess. If you were struggling before maybe a more measured approach to relieving those issues that didn't throw the entire economic system of the country into crisis could have been better?

Personally can't stand people who look at government and political decisions through the lense of "it's good for me." I especially can't stand it when the people doing it (and I don't know you so I'm not saying you fall into this category) are in decent shape beforehand and are fine with the damage that is done to those more vulnerable. It's a greater good type of thing.

Oh so getting pay rises and lots of business is bad now?

Whilst in the EU most years I got no pay rises, most was 2% on year. The only rise I got was from the tax man.

This forum is hilarious
By the way I really don't below you. However, out of generosity of the remain spirit, the rising cost of living and inflation are bad. The employee wage is normally the highest cost to any business and the rising wage will be past on to others almost guarantee those at the top won't be taking less pay, to raise the pay lower down in wage structure. Just silly to compartmentalize pay raise without looking at the consequences, especially as cost of living and inflation are very notable.

I don't get this mate, are you saying that it is not advisable for pay rises because of the knock on effects?.
What we have seen for years is inflation and costs rising but wages stagnating and hence working people being poorer and its about time wages started to catch up.

Cost of living and inflation is rising with this supposed wage increase. And the first murmurs of interest rate rises are being spoken to combat inflation. With household debt higher than the last crash, some very uncomfortable times are coming. If you can't even honestly acknowledge increase of cost of living and inflation then don't bother replying.

So what is your solution?. The price increases and inflation are and have been happening already while wages have remained static so are you suggesting wages should still remain static to counter act it and thus peolles take home pay is worth less?.

Are you saying the UK economy is in crisis because of Brexit or the Pandemic?.

People vote the way they do to retain what they have or hopefully gain a better life in the future?. Are you saying you don't do this?.

I vote based on more than myself. I'm a white middle class straight male. My interests are probably best served by voting for the Republicans. Or at least they arguably are. I don't vote for them.
