NI is a different story in fairness but im talking about the Blue Tick Brigade on social media mate - middle class toffs from the suburbs around London talking as if life has been ruined its nonsense imo.
Fair play. There really are some over here who long for the 'old days'. Any excuse is all they need. The whole thing turned out to be a bollocks for us.

Paisley was interviewed on Newsnight last night and he said categorically that Johnson told him this was the plan to tear up NI protocol, no confusion.

Can understand people doubting Cummings but that's two confirmed first hand accounts of the facts! We the UK intended not to play fair, we purposely set out to lie and mislead!

Now lets have a think. With such clearly documented and to be accurate accounts. Who now around the world is going to trust us going forward, unless of course, we continue giving away the crown jewels as we did with Australia trade deal. UK farming is feeling pretty cheated too!

DUP believing Boris Johnson... Now, where have I heard that one before? Such a parcel of rogues.....

Now let’s have a think.

do you really believe foreign governments have no clue about the very specific issues surrounding N.Ireland with respect to its position in the UK and possibly see them in isolation?

no? Thought not.
Do you mean that because NI is a specific issue that foreign governments will understand why the U.K. entered into an agreement in wilful bad faith?

What is your point then Kev?
NI is part of the uk and has been the source of domestic dispute for decades. It’s a problem that’s existed for generations. It’s on our doorstep. I think that’s recognised globally. It’s an arena that’s - and I’d rather not use this language so don’t have a go at me for it - a total minefield. It’s beyond pure economic concerns it’s about geography and territorial disputes.

there’s no other country in the world that we would possibly have those specific problems with.

But why would foreign countries understanding this impact on their view over what’s happening now re the Protocol?

Oh right so cost of living and inflation and subsequent interest rate is good thing now... Let me guess you carve wooden puppets!
Oh so getting pay rises and lots of business is bad now?

Whilst in the EU most years I got no pay rises, most was 2% on year. The only rise I got was from the tax man.

This forum is hilarious
