I'm from Oxford you plum lol
Wasn’t aware but then your previous comments trying to suggest that the uk’s problems were around a lack of skilled rather than unskilled labour suggested you don’t have a clue about this country.

as for Farage, I’ve no comment except that political parties will do anything they have to do to maintain power. If 20% of a population vote in one direction it is perhaps reasonable to expect their views to be very seriously taken into account.

For all the cry arsing going on has anyone on here's life drastically changed since Brexit?

Like politics you hear a lot of tears and swears but ultimately very little changes in the grand scheme of things whoever is in power/PM.

Would you say you're in hardship from that though or do you still live quite comfortably mate?
That seems a somewhat false dichotomy tbh. Off the top of my head, my work with them probably made up around 10-20% of my income each year, so while I'm not resorting to eating Pot Noodles for dinner I'm not sure I would characterise the situation in positive terms.

Things like EU membership or trade deals generally don't make or break a nation, but they exist to make doing the right things that bit easier. That's the challenge for Brexiters really, as there are quite a few things that have been made that little bit harder or more expensive, and I'm not sure there has been a great deal that has been made easier or cheaper. It's quite sad that some five years after the vote we're talking of Brexit in terms that it's not "that" crap.

I never voted on the issue tbh as no one ultimately could give all the facts one way or another. I think long term it could work out but at the same time I think people who voted to leave were naive to believe there wouldn't be some sort of short term pain.

You can likely judge if it was right or wrong in another 5-10 years or so?

Out of interest, what would you expect to have happened in the next 5 years that hasn't happened in the preceding 5 years?

In NI, there's a very real chance the executive could collapse or a border could be forced if Article 16 is triggered. As soon as a hard border goes up, the bombs start going off again. But as long as you're grand, I'll keep my cryarsing to myself (which I obviously haven't now I've posted this). Hopefully, common sense will prevail as Johnson plays chicken.

NI is a different story in fairness but im talking about the Blue Tick Brigade on social media mate - middle class toffs from the suburbs around London talking as if life has been ruined its nonsense imo.

Paisley was interviewed on Newsnight last night and he said categorically that Johnson told him this was the plan to tear up NI protocol, no confusion.

Can understand people doubting Cummings but that's two confirmed first hand accounts of the facts! We the UK intended not to play fair, we purposely set out to lie and mislead!

Now lets have a think. With such clearly documented and to be accurate accounts. Who now around the world is going to trust us going forward, unless of course, we continue giving away the crown jewels as we did with Australia trade deal. UK farming is feeling pretty cheated too!

Now let’s have a think.

do you really believe foreign governments have no clue about the very specific issues surrounding N.Ireland with respect to its position in the UK and possibly see them in isolation?

no? Thought not.
