Always thought it looked a very stressful job and would certainly not suit everyone so can’t imagine it’s high up people’s list of dream jobs.
Getting the license isn’t easy either but it generally pays pretty decent. Sometimes it’s not so easy as ‘British jobs for British people’ Labour needs to be imported.

Neighbour is a HGV driver he's gone sometimes at 3 in the morning, our dog goes mental when the lorry starts, and wakes up the whole house.. I'd hate a job that requires that kind of early start..

Not unusual as it sounds, lad in my street sometimes parks his cab up in the car park opposite me if he’s home. (Not with a trailer on though ?)
