Lolling at Pete not knowing how agreements generally work
Ultimately I can’t believe people don’t do due diligence in his position, it’s not like he finds his beliefs more important because now he’s changed his mind .I like how he said he voted as a business man for Brexit and now as a person he would vote to remain. Methinks he got them the wrong way around.

That the majority of elected representatives in NI and the southern Irish government call for the protocol to be implemented but are open to tweaks is your answer to that Pete.Contracts and Trade agreements invariably get amended if something is not right. No contract is perfect, ask VDL about ‘best efforts’.
So, can I just ask all of you Remainer/EU Cheerleaders, do you think there are problems with the Protocol and what you would do to fix if there are…….

No, one party has realised that they got their pants pulled down at the negotiating table and are now whining very loudly about it. Boris wasn't shy about using this amazing deal to get his big majority, was he? And multiple Tory MPs laughed in the Commons at the idea of proper parliamentary scrutiny. And yet now it's the millstone around the nation's neck, with the Tories once again successfully gaslighting simpletons like yourself that it's something the wicked EU imposed on us.
But enough of your repeated refusal to admit to culpability in the country's sad diminishment, you now demand people step in and solve the problem for you. Okay then, you've got exactly two broad avenues of travel (the same that have always been available because remainers have been warning over this for the WHOLE TIME):
1) Article 16, revoke all those years of 'progress' and go for the no deal that was always too scary for the UK to consider. Slams a wrecking ball through the GFA and so weakens our ties to the US at exactly the same moment we tear them up with the EU.
2) Align on SPS, removing the need for a border anywhere across GB/NI/ROI/EU. Starts to roll back from the hard brexit demaned by the ultras.
So that's it. The two other solutions to the trilemma now that Boris tried one and didn't like it. Where do we go from here?

Obviously pete it’s only anecdotal but There are definitely supply problems on some of the continental specialty beers.Has no beer to sell eh…we’ll I’ve got loads if he wants some. There had been a reduction in certain Lager supplies for about a week a month back while brewer production was ramping up, but it’s all up to speed and I’m not aware of any supply problems. Nightclubs were closed anyway. If he hasn’t got any then he hasn’t ordered it. The major brewers are churning it out. In terms of bar staff there is an unlimited amount of under 20’s looking for work, specialist food staff may be a problem but it’s a nightclub. I’m calling crap on this, it’s a remainer who’s looking for publicity for his club……..

Option 1) it is then…and you will note that’s what I’ve been calling for.……
Cool. Sounds like you're fine with the blood on your hands from relaunching the Troubles then, and have decided that any diplomatic goodwill with our historic trading and strategic partners can be jettisoned and replaced with diddly squat. In addition, the UK govt twice backed down from threatening no deal when the EU didn't blink, so I'm afraid you'll have to pick again if we're talking about realistic options. Do you even engage your brain before typing responses or has that ship long sailed?
Ultimately, option 1 is not on the table. They can scream about article 16 all they like, but they didn't have the balls to #goWTO before and still don't. No UK govt will countenence it, even the current frothing zealots.
The only sensible route forward is to align on SPS and start softening Brexit. It was a terrible idea to begin with and May's race to be the biggest baddest Brexiteer on the block basically knobbled any negotiating strength she might have had because she (along with every other Tory in the decision making process) have made this about domestic politics rather than an actual international negotiation.
And if you don't agree with that, then by implication, you support the Protocol in its current form.
Ok mate….Again pete not arguing with that there is a degree of hyperbole and my opinion on people who lose staff it’s because they don’t generally look after them but to pretend there has been no impact across the board would be to be disingenuous. There are to some degree but if you look at the most popular drinks sold in the U.K. and especially in Nightclubs, it’s cobblers. There was a one week rationing of Premium Lagers, Moretti and co, but the nightclubs were not even open at the time. If he’s got no beer, he’s not running the place correctly because everyone else, including supermarkets, are getting by……

Staffing issues in your village for example are unlikely to be impacted by losing EU citizens even to a degree Liverpool , London that’s a different conversation. Ultimately nationally there has been an impact on hospitality, clearly it varies depending on where you are with most on facing a minor impact but there has absolutely been an impact .
