Yep and you stick to your entrenched & blinkered views and we will both be good.
Maybe for the best. ;)
Well so far today, you have:
Suggested Italians can’t have a special forces and would be too worried about looking good.
That everyone living in Europe is fuming with their governments.
That a long standing and respected poster’s wife should be grateful to have received her jab as she wouldn’t have received that in the Eu (untrue)
Can you see that there may be a bit of an irony here in calling my views ‘entrenched and blinkered.’
I don’t think you’re even an everton fan so dunno why you’re rasping your bigotry in here. We have enough of our own.

It's incredible that anyone looks at this vaccines mess and concludes that the solution (and conclusion) is anything other than greater cooperation.

Aside from your feelings about Brexit, it doesn't prevent us working closely with the EU and cooperating effectively as 'Sovereign Equals'

There are things the UK has access to which the EU doesn't (world class universities) and vice versa, but everyone has settled for bickering and pettiness.
Indeed. It's a situation in which everyone loses out. Speaking of Britain innovating.

I am genuinely pleased for her.
But will you be reminding her that if we had stayed in the EU that she wouldn't be any where near having her first jab yet?
Maybe that slipped your mind. Not to worry...
She's a nurse, which is the only reason she's had even her first jab, let alone her second one by now. I've had neither. This quite appropriate prioritisation of healthcare staff has been commonplace across Europe. Perhaps a more appropriate point of comparison is that our Czech grandpa is getting his 2nd dose this week. My British parents (who are a similar age) are still waiting for their 2nd dose.

Utter rubbish.
I speak with Irish clients virtually everyday of the week and they say the exact opposite.
They actually said that even if they had the vaccines they don't have infrastructure to roll it out anyway.
It's you who's talking total tosh.
They probably know they're speaking with a swivel eyed Brexiter and opt for an easy and quiet life :coffee:

Colleagues of mine who’s families work in healthcare in Portugal vaccinated also. Euro expert @PaulPowersTash who has regular dialogue with a varied European client base regarding vaccinations, seems unaware of this which suggests to me he’s telling total porkies

Not like there is a strategy to vaccinate over 80s and healthcare workers first...

What does this have to do with the U.K./Eu relationship, apart from the fact that the U.K. is beating the crap out of the EU in respect of inoculation.....
I was taking the opportunity to underline again how you never accept Johnson's personal part in the massive loss of life we've seen in the UK with Covid19.

Feel free to remedy that now...

He was late locking down. We all know this......a bit like China was late letting the world know about its little virus...but you seem to blame him also for any deaths in Scotland, Wales and NI, which have figures broadly in relation to size and were all managed separately. But strangely you never mention them because they are not Tory. I’m sure he will put his hand up after all this is sorted in respect of England’s numbers.....
