I don't know mate and I'm not one for the over priced fine dining experience.
He’s got a place named The Maram Grass ... I’ve been in before he owned it, used to be a great little place for walkers and stuff where there were shower blocks out the back where campers and that could get cleaned up, not been in there since it went all posh.

Wow up to 50% drop is UK meat sales to the Europe since Brexit, and just not credible as Just "teething problems".

"The British Meat Processors Association and its members stand ready to consult with Government and map out those solutions”.

Be standing a long time by themselves.

Spin the Peteblue response roulette wheel and see what answer you get

What would the British Meat Industry know about British meat? Did you know I negotiated with people before?

They had 4 years to prepare

We knew there would be short term pain, they need to stop moaning and wait and see

It's the EU's fault.

To all of you guys who still wish to be part of the EU, how in gods name can you excuse the EU ordering the Italians to send in the carabinieri to an AZ factory, spreading lies to newspapers about a stash of 29 million doses to be surreptitiously exported to the U.K. So now that the Italians have confirmed that actually they were still in the process of EMA acceptance prior to going to Belgium and onward distribution both to the EU and Covax, has anyone apologised to AZ or the U.K. for this absolute madhouse approach to this virus. Bloody hell I knew this lot were incompetent, but they keep inventing new heights of nonsense by the day......
A raid by 'an elite Italian military unit' is an oxymoron to start with. However, I bet the uniforms looked nice!
What type of modern, democratic organisation would carry out a raid on it's own citizens without warrant or cause only to find they were grabbing back their own property? It's an EU version of Yes Minister but for real or even a Carry On Up The EU! movie.
Shameful is the only word that comes to mind. Interestingly the BBC don't seem to be covering it?
Anyone seen or heard the Kinnocks lately?
No. Me neither...

Bless you

I saw Julia Bradbury on one of her walking shows going all goo goo as the 2 scousers flirted with her

Can't argue with the innovation part, the British government have found incredible new ways to self-destruct and embarrass itself internationally.
I don't disagree. But the EU is hardly a paragon of efficency and effectiveness either.
Basically, they are all the same. Almost all politicians are in it for themselves regardless of what country, what party or what political hue or colour they profess to respresent.

What this pandemic has proven is that Britian innovates. The EU regulates.
Just suck it up Jimmy. It's how it is.
"Greed and capitalism" will echo globally and it wont sit well with many world wide.

EU will be seen as applying a fair measure for all.

Johnson and Co have had their backsides thwacked by nanny.

Jeez... I'm speechless (and that doesn't happen very often).
Why on this occasion cannot you not just put up your hands and say
the EU have cocked up the whole vaccine project / roll out from start to finish?
Which clearly they have. Trying to defend what is clearly an indefensible position does you or no one else any
good whatsoever. When it comes to greed and capitalism the AZ vaccine is the only vaccine being produced
at cost price to the world. Do you or anyone else think that the nonsense that has been spouted about the AZ vaccine
would have happened if it had been produced by Sanofi in France? No me neither.
Lets have an rational, objective debate by all means but to try and defend the EU on this one
and criticise and degenerate the British success due to political and ideological views is just both petty & childish.

Lets weight ball a bit and bet on a street.

Think of the EU or von der Leyen what you like and me I care not. The new rules are likely to be viewed as fair by most other countries.
Largest exporter of vaccines in the world. No general export ban.

Continuing exports to those countries which don't have any or insufficient production capacity.

Restrictions on exports of vaccines or raw materials to those countries which either have sufficient capacity like USA and don't reciprocate with exports of vaccines or raw materials to the EU and have a high vaccination rate but don't reciprocate with exports of vaccines or raw materials to the EU probably the UK.

So in essence, the EU will look after everybody who is in genuine need of vaccines but we will stop sending to those who don't have a need or make vaccinations a national matter. The non Anglo centric view will most likely all concur with EU.

COVID really does not care about nationalism, it is the only redeeming feature of the damn thing.
An excellent post in the art of not answering a single question posed - I'm genuinely impressed.
Maybe best if we leave it there on this one. We are poles apart, which is fine. It's a forum to
discuss, debate and on occasions even argue. That's what it's all about. ;)
