We've got the freedom we needed...now we can reduce regulations and rights for the working public: 'its what you voted for'.Freedom though.
The fallacy of wait and see as below.Agree with much of what you say. It was a choice but many signed it for the extra hours pay
If the Tories did try and change stuff you would like to think labour and the unions would unite it and fight it. Public demonstrations etc. Johnson buckles under pressure and constantly changes his mind
Barn door horses bolted, duh!It would pass through parliament regardless of any Labour/Union objections.
Brexit - Do want Sovereignty,Freedom though.
They've shot themselves in both feet!Freedom though.
Just as the rotting fishes can be glad they're British though...We've got the freedom we needed...now we can reduce regulations and rights for the working public: 'its what you voted for'.

It really is the problem with wishful thinking and 'wait and see' that the safeguards you hoped protect and prevent these things from happening are already reduced.Just as the rotting fishes can be glad they're British though...
Freedom was always about stopping immigrants entering the UK...and well over half the Brexiteers would send back anyone not white.
Just a joke obviously...If it’s for Patel, tell her to send them back.....
I think that there is an added layer to the situation whereby Johnson's newfound Brexit genie will now have to be seen to grant wishes to the right wing nut-jobs. Changing regulations, because we can, to signal our "freedom". More than likely ones that get right up Brussel's noses, I would imagine. The whole project is so invested in achieving ideological objectives, that impacts and outcomes are largely irrelevant and will be dressed for public consumption as being to our long term benefit. A theory popularly referred to as "Wait and See" by some expert commentators. It really is the problem with wishful thinking and 'wait and see' that the safeguards you hoped protect and prevent these things from happening are reduced.
The Government has a huge majority so can force it through if necessary.
And the beauty is that once you frame anything in the context of Brexit it is backed unquestionably by a sizeable group of people (enforced by the complicity in the lie and a reaction to people saying 'i told you so).
We will soon have the sovereign freedom to have our employers force us to work more than 48hrs pw...Freedom was always about stopping immigrants entering the UK...and well over half the Brexiteers would send back anyone not white.
The devil is in the detail, in this case specifically the quotas for individual fish. Whilst overall the UK fishing industry will have more than doubled their quotas over the next 5 years, that isn't the case for Cornish guys, who predominantly fish within the 12 mile zone. In many cases their quotas haven't increased at all, especially in the high end products that fetch the best prices. They feel as though they've been stuffed by the Tories and rightly so.Maybe she would like to read what the The Cornish Fish Producers think of the deal, they did not wait to see and they basically believe they have been shafted and sold for other interests, yet to be determined.
junior doctors already do.We will soon have the sovereign freedom to have our employers force us to work more than 48hrs pw...
That needs sorting out quickly. As usual with this government there is a lack of detail coming out as to what the problem is. Hopefully they are teething issues but it would be nice to know. It's in everyone's interest to get it sorted because the UK fish industry is losing income and the European supermarkets and fish merchants have some empty shelves and disappointed customers.Just as the rotting fishes can be glad they're British though...
We could've had parliamentary scrutiny of the deal, it was deliberately left to the last minute to prevent that. That needs sorting out quickly. We already had that since the working time directive came in years. Anyone can opt outWe will soon have the sovereign freedom to have our employers force us to work more than 48hrs pw...
