TBF I do wonder whether the fishing "betrayal" - and Rashford + school meals for that matter - is just some elaborate dead catism, trying to create a row on a ground of their choosing (ie: an unimportant industry and "free stuff") rather than what would be (to them) a much more dangerous row over the fact that they are blatantly incompetent at everything. They do after all keep restarting these particular rows.

I've often thought that there's some grand scheming behind everything they do. But more and more I'm thinking that they're just genuinely incompetent. Johnson has nothing on his CV that qualifies him for such high office.
