Felixstowe port struggling with the new EU regs it seems. Customs clearance for containers is taking much longer than it was pre Christmas.
Aye given the time of year fishing is highlighted because in the main it's our only short life perishable goods being exported. Other industries are no doubt suffering...
Distribution companies centres are going to be a thing again very 1970s.lol

I reckon that there will be loads of unforeseen consequences from Brexit that hit UK businesses. The whole mission is purely ideological. It isn't about it being better, it never was. It's just about not being in the EU. That's it really and that's why there isn't a long list of benefits being waved around. The supposed saving plastered on the side of the bus was only based on not being in the EU and not contributing.

Asking anybody to explain the benefits of Brexit is to miss the point. Brexit, is the only point. Any consequential negative impact or outcome, is acceptable collateral damage. If any aspect of the impacts can be mitigated, I'm sure they will try to do so, but if it can't be, tough, get used to it.

'they've promised to align workers rights'
'they've promised they aren't looking at it'
'they've promised to align with EU standards'
'yes, they're looking at them but they've promised they won't do anything to them'
'well yes, they've promised to.....'

I mean, he may have co-authored Britannia Unchained, which described British workers as ‘amongst the worst idlers in the world’, but as he says, it was a long time ago. 2012.
