Little toy orcs wasn't it?

One post in here @Bruce Wayne

Worth while reopening that thread just so we can keep an eye on the oddballs give people a focus during lockdown.

Not you @Prevenger17 (it feels like you're only into as deep cover).

I hope @Disgruntledgoat is ok. Seemed to just vanish

Sniff something iffy... And not what you penned in Britannia "Unchained', Kwarteng with the rest of your now government cabinet colleagues Patel Raab and Truss.

Won't happen, our leave voters have assured me in this thread that 'nobody is taking about it' and the 'public won't stand for it'.

That gives me great comfort and reassurance :coffee:

Thing is loads of workers opt out of the 48 hrs directive. As the article says most emergency workers do with the approval of their various unions. I did when I worked in the building game

Wait and see...

Be interesting to see where they aim their dilution, they have already shifted much of lower paid into the gig economy. Really leaves middle and upper management, the rump I would say. Not so easy to divide and conquer due to educational attainment.

It was a choice not a requirement.

Agree with much of what you say. It was a choice but many signed it for the extra hours pay
If the Tories did try and change stuff you would like to think labour and the unions would unite it and fight it. Public demonstrations etc. Johnson buckles under pressure and constantly changes his mind

It would pass through parliament regardless of any Labour/Union objections.
