Look hands up, I was wrong that you've never been called racist, but I have to Lol if that's your idea of a pattern that warrants cryarsing about

those were just two examples, as I said it seems to be a re-occuring theme, I am all for having a laugh and good natured banter but when stuff is aimed with no justification other than I voted leave and then when its brought up folks go onto denial that it happens, then I feel it only right to show that it does

Politics is fickle. A rejoin platform would not satisfy the EU. They would need a sustained positive case for re-joining from the UK. Because a simple tip in balance to 'rejoin' would still be subject to the same argument as we are having now.

I can't see that happening in UK politics for a long time. The EU would want a considered, long term positive move towards the EU in action and rhetoric from the UK.
Can agree with most of that. But think most EU countries would want us back. France would extract it's pound of flesh.
I don't see it happening either because brexit would have to be disastrous and start adversely affecting people's lives.
And I don't see that.

I mean it's not no justification is it? Saying you voted Leave but don't want to tell anyone why doesn't suggest you're particularly proud of your reasons so a joke about it doesn't seem so ridiculous.

You're scrabbling for something to be upset about to try and claim the high ground, I understand why, but it doesn't really work.

Sorry mate, but those were 2 pretty crap examples. If you think @Tea_drinker was representative of other Remainers or Brexit sceptics, then you clearly hadn't read his other contributions to this forum, honestly one of the biggest dweebs we've ever had. As for Moomin, you left an open goal with your post and he just slotted it in. The tone of his post is clearly a windup. Maybe you're a little sensitive?

I've asked for the facts to back up your claims? Still waiting.
See this is the problem. We all know you’re a formally banned poster. Don’t particularly have a problem with that. There are many people on here in the same boat. The problem is you’re completely denying this, thus making your persona of ‘reformed remain voter’ pretty hard to believe as having any sort of sincerity. My guess is it’s total BS.

It's already adversely affecting peoples lives as the posts/links you keep dismissing attest.

You also have to consider the dynamics of UK over the coming years. The case for Scottish independence/Welsh independence, United Ireland.

England could well end up as a nation free from all union still crowing about the EU on our doorstep.

We are still, in political commentary and media reporting the triumphalism of Brexit 'taking back control' and demonstration of our power while simultaneously playing the victim when the EU exercises its own rights.

Compare and contrast:

From today:

It's daft

It's all bluster - he isn't actually bypassing Brexit rules by applying Art.16 either and I'm not even sure it satisfies the criteria..

Out of the UK general population it is affecting a tiny minority. That could change if supermarkets run out of stuff but even in NI it is reported today that shelves are 95% full today.
Fishing
Norway's fisheries minister Odd Emil Ingebrigtsen previously told the Norwegian Parliament: “If we do not get a deal by January 1, we will not open Norway’s economic fishing zones to vessels from the EU and Britain.

“Neither can we expect Norwegian vessels to get access to their zones before a deal is in place?

“We’ve been telling the EU for a long time that we needed a three-way deal, and the ball is therefore now in the EU’s court.

“It is not a given that these (fisheries) talks can be concluded before the new year.”
Even they seem to be blaming the EU

Yes mate. As you already know, the rep message you received on one of your first ever posts

Unless you’re saying the site owner is telling ‘porkies’

These pages are largely unmoderated and people on the wind-up or telling porkies are usually sniffed out pretty quickly

Again you've no basis to make this sweeping statement.

And, on your second point about fishing, you seem to have missed the point. it's not about fishing, it's about the language of the British press and politicians. Blame is exactly the problem here.

The incoherent rabble in Johnson reply, this man could need lead a fart out of an arsehole.

Even Tory Laura is predicting trouble on Johnson bumbled extra compensation package...
