The OBR forecast that, even with a Free Trade Agreement in place with the EU, Britain's GDP would decline by about 4% by the year 2025.

About a deal that was only agreed upon last week? What government adverts have you seen out of interest?

Its also worth noting in that document that since the Brexit vote we seemed to do a lot more business (both in and out)


The total value of UK exports increased by 13 per cent between 2016 and 2017, following a decrease of 13 per cent between 2013 and 2015.
Exports to the EU rose by 14 per cent between 2016 and 2017, following a decrease between 2013 and 2015.
Exports to non-EU countries increased by 12 per cent between 2016 and 2017.


Will be worth re-visiting that site for updated info each year to see how things trend

So Tesco Chairman's casual expectation for Tesco is expert opinion, Office For Budget responsibility's forecast for entire country's economy (which is their entire purpose for being) are just educated guesses? Got ya
