It does sound stupid. But we have always had to show our passports there. Don't know why

Been about 5 times between 2000 - 2010 and if memory serves me right we showed passports but didn't need to have them stamped

(daughter was about 6 on one visit and the chap put a stamp in her passport just so she had something in there, that's why it springs to mind)

The OBR forecast??? Educated guesses
Clueless numpty. Abuse again
Tesco chairman. An expert. Said he expects very modest or no price rises.
Government adverts telling businesses to get ready for 2021,. May have only been on in the UK.
Yes, they did the easy part, telling people to 'get ready' without any clarity on what they are getting ready for, or any detail on how to do it isn't really all that helpful is it?
Its a rather fitting analogy for this government, great on slogans and BS, not so hot on the ol' 'government-ing'.

Hey Ste, get ready!!!!

And if you can't it's your own fault

So Tesco Chairman's casual expectation for Tesco is expert opinion, Office For Budget responsibility's forecast for entire country's economy (which is their entire purpose for being) are just educated guesses? Got ya

Phew, I hadn't actually realised the government told businesses to get ready for the deal they only made a week ago. Businesses be all like:

And yes, you are a clueless numpty. Maybe the most clueless since Ashtonian's last account got the punt
Your not from the UK so won't have seen the adverts probably.
The OBR as you said was a forecast. Has it happened NO will it happen Maybe or maybe not. A forecast just in case you don't is
to calculate or predict (some future event or condition) usually as a result of study and analysis of available pertinent data The company is forecasting reduced profits. ... 2 : to serve as a forecast of : presage Such events may forecast peace.
An educated guess. The Tesco chairman may or may not be right about any price rises. We will find out soon

Which means that anyone within the EU Schengen zone can enter Gibraltar freely but U.K. citizens will have go through passport control to enter a U.K. territory. You literally couldn’t make it up lol

Are you upset because the people of La Linea can freely walk across the border to go to work and that the people of Gibraltar can freely walk across the other way to shop. How often do you go to Gibraltar to spend a couple of minutes getting through customs....if none of this bothers Leavers, why are Remainers getting upset....

Lol ffs, I know what a forecast is mate. You just seem to value the Tesco Chairman's completely vague expectation over the tirelessly calculated economic model that governments literally base their economic strategy and objectives off.

Look you're too clueless not to ignore I'm afraid, I honestly think I'm getting stupider talking to you. Maybe I'll bump into another one of your multis down the line but guess we'll have to wait and see

Who’s upset?

I seem to remember Gibraltar upsetting plenty though.

I'd put a great big laser controlled 15" gun on the top of Gibraltar. Any Spanish ship coming into British water would be targeted, informed, then a large shell follows.......stop messing around here.....

I understand it to be correct, but if you say it isn’t then please explain. Considering that EU trade is only about 10-12% of our GDP and the majority of our businesses are not multinationals, I could well believe that 95% of our businesses have no dealing with the EU.....
If you think that a one man band plumber and Nissan being given the same relevance when calculating the percentages isn’t completely ludicrous then I can’t help you. Using total turnover in order to play down the fact that the EU accounts for nearly half of our exports is equally disingenuous btw.
