So, when you voted Leave, were you already a racist or did you just become one when you voted...

I didn't say leave voters were racist pete; I didn't even say you were because of your leave vote. I just thought it was remarkable you'd got on your high horse after saying quite a few things about the Irish.

That Varadkar stuff was quite something tbf. I'm putting it down to him being 10 pints deep and having a random pang of racist sentiment as opposed to being indicative of his general view of Irish people with foreign sounding names

If you think I did not criticise the May administration you are incorrect, as she and an inept and europhile CS cabal pulled every stunt possible to not leave the EU

She had the same 'kin deal mate. She just didn't shamble around making vague allusions to "sovereignty". You've been stitched up good and proper here, you just needed a good old Eton boy to sell you the beans

It's not even the end of it like it's being portrayed, as ongoing negotiations will occur on financial services and data, while all those committees will be engaged in various wranglings, before the whole thing is revisited again in five years time.

prev's been the same, most have been the same because, even after all these years, it seems that Brexit is just a rose tinted nationalist move based on sentiment and nostalgia. It boils down to 'We're Britain and no ones gonna tell us what to do'.
And as a result, you will definitely be economically worse of in the short to medium term and most likely the long term.
It was always a huge sentimental gamble and with the Tories at the wheel, it was never going to be a roaring success.
The only silver lining is that the DUP lost the king maker role and it's all not quite the car crash it could have been.
Think I'll stay out of Ireland's affairs.

Given the deal has now passed, were out of the EU, we've regained our Sovereignty (whatever people think that means), we've got a massive Tory majority in parliament, why are people lying about the details off the deal?

I can understand saying 'we don't know the possible outcome' of something, I can understand people voting for something which they know will make them financially poorer for the possibility of greater freedom and I can understand why people may dislike the incredibly bureaucratic EU structures and systems - but why there is a denial of clear legal agreement? If it's great deal, be proud of it, if it's done what it was supposed to do be proud of it, it's got many of the aims of what the UK wanted so be proud of it - if it's so good, I don't see why there is a reluctance to own the detail rather than just the headline.

We don't know the possible outcome of it yet! Not remainers. Not brexiteers. Maybe in 5 years. I'm sure the same arguments will still be in here

Most leave voters don’t like the deal so there’s that

There’s been a lot of talk about the 12 month notice termination clause - I would expect that to be the next Brexit battleground in months/years to come. The deal just agreed is simply marking time.
