How do they do at then ..... in detail, anytime you wish.....

Because London based asset houses no longer have free access to the EU. Most are in London cos its the bestist place on earth to do banking stuff, plus free access into the EU. Now, they are not so sure.

I was being ironic. I know full well that this has made London trading rooms etc etc etc, less attractive as a trading area. Morgan Stanley has already moved its European assets from London.
Think London will remain as one of the financial powerhouses. The articles itself says there will great opportunities outside of the EU.

Congratulations to Johnson for lying his way to this treaty. Johnson has managed this by splitting the previously United Kingdom. We now have a border with the island of Ireland. When posters on here, and government ministers, extol the virtues of the 'best of both worlds' (that the people of the six counties of Ulster that Great Britain has separated gets EU benefits while 'remaining' British), the stupidity of the whole Brexit nonsense is laid bare. Personally, I am happy that Ireland is now solidly on course to reunite, and right a historical wrong, but I am astounded that Johnson abandoned NI like May never could. The fact that he did this tells you all about his desperation to get any, any kind of deal over the line.

The six counties government seem quite happy with the deal

It will. No doubt.

But as we speak, billions and billions of pound notes that currently contribute to the UK economy, might feel happier that a lot of it is repatriated to Paris or Frankfurt. Cos thats where it is easier to do stuff.

Jacob Rees Mogg repatriated a pile of his clients cash from London to Dublin earlier this year. And he is so small beer its comical. In so many ways.

I'd posted it yesterday, but in case you missed it.

As with so much of this, it's not going to destroy the City's status as a financial power, but equally, it's certainly not helping it, which I would have thought is the whole point of this?

Lest we forget, this is far and away our biggest industry and biggest exporter, and this miracle deal your man has delivered is a long way short of what our main industry was asking for.
