I honestly believe the stupid tiered perpetual lockdown system is designed with this in mind - if COVID wrecks the economy, he can shield the Brexit economical disaster behind that as an excuse. He'll be able to paint any assessment by experts to split the two as "guesswork".

Or maybe introduce Covid20....Even if Boris achieved the greatest FTA agreements with every country on the planet, achieved more than full employment and we had the greatest living standards on the planet you would still moan about something and suggest a Tory plot. Boris is having to deal with the two greatest challenges that any PM has faced in many years.

The Covid effect upon the economy and debt will indeed drown out any potential negative effect of Brexit, but the potential upside of Brexit may well help our economy to recover....

Just embarrassed to be honest. Can't see why anyone not completely insane would be celebrating this - we've just ensured the country is worse off for generations to come. Huzzah I guess.
Yup. Plus we globally look like untrustworthy idiots. People celebrating the ‘easiest trade deal in history’ and Johnson flouncing about like he’s Winston Churchill. Whole thing is a cringe fest.

Covid wont always be around. This deal will be the gift that keeps on giving. Unrelenting wave after wave of poor economic performance before - and within a decade - the country will want back into the EU...where an independent Scotland will already be and petitioning for England and Wales' readmission.
Always said if it doesn't work out we can rejoin

Hahaha, Boris’ tie at today’s briefing....I know you all hate him, but credit where credit is due.....

To date that is correct. All that has happened so far is that the Cliff edge, gleefully forecast by certain Remainers, has been removed by Liz Truss and her team and David Frost and his team. Now we need to do the same again with the new opportunities.......

Ok well. Well credit to them for not falling off a cliff, and currently bringing in 0 new sales I suppose! I am not so easily pleased it seems!

117. On healthcare, where the UK or an EU Member State is responsible for
the healthcare of an individual, they will be entitled to reciprocal healthcare
cover. This includes certain categories of cross-border workers and state
pensioners who retire to the UK or to the EU.
118. In addition, the Protocol will ensure necessary healthcare provisions –
akin to those provided by the European Health Insurance Card (EHIC)
scheme – continue. This means individuals who are temporarily staying in
another country, for example a UK national who is in an EU Member State for
a holiday, will have their necessary healthcare needs met for the period of
their stay.

Health care when you are on holiday looks like its been taken care of.
