Imagine expecting to get free unfettered access to the world's biggest single economic market with no strings attached.
That is what this mop headed madman is asking for, and is prepared to inflict economic devastation on his own country in his attempt to get it.
Or more likely, a clean exit without a free trade deal is what he and his cronies have wanted all along, and to achieve that he has set terms that he knows the EU can't and will never agree to and they will laugh him out of town.
He won't care though, he will have fulfilled his wet dream of 'regaining sovereignty', whatever that means, and his successor will be left with the tab and a mess that will last for a generation and will have to deal with the consequences while his lot sit back count their millions.
And people actually gave him a mandate to do this. You could not make it up.
