Haha, tbf, he knows he usually has to pay for that.

Johnson playing the serfs like a grand piano, and then springing the *big reveal* of a deal that defeats Johnny Foreigner. Thick gammons up and down the land punching the air and waving butcher's aprons above their heads.

This murdering scumbag couldn't play this any other way. He knows his audience.

I bloody hope that you're right Dave. Sadly, I do think that this government is that stupid and that corrupt that they'll be pleased with a No Deal.
Some of the crazies will love one; but the vast majority of Tory MPs will be besides themselves if a deal doesn't happen, because economic carnage will come and their hold over their constituencies will crumble - blue walls tumble down all over southern England.

Got a bulk order of repeat meds going in tomorrow for Nik.

She is fine for 3 weeks, so that gives us a few weeks to get her comfortable till Feb.

But sovereignty or sommet. Morons.

I really hope you are right.

But if No Deal is the outcome come the weekend, (though there will be another deadline), what could they actually do?

This is brinkmanship/theatre. Obvioulsy we have to allow for a calamity to happen and to consider / prepare for that - as you are for prescriptions. But the likelihood for me will be that a way will be found to kick this into 2021 if the cliff edge nears.

No one negotiating wants no deal. That is the absolute bottom line.

Concerning.

Hopefully just careful. Most of her meds are vitamins and that. But 2 are more for comfort, so like I said to the chemist the other day, if there is no Vit D, I can lob her in the garden!

For all I know, they are all made in the UK anyrate, but as her carer, would rather have the boxes in the kitchen, not on a container in Dover.

Both sides have played silly buggars.

The EU have the right to, I'm not saying they don't, but fed up of seeing people act like this bureaucratic trading block are some kind of angelic state.

We'll see what happens but there's more pressing needs atm.

They're only doing what everyone said they'd do from the start.

They haven't lied. They've said there'd be consequences.

The Brexiteers lied about "easiest trade deal in history", everything would be find.

I mean I'm the most likely person on here to look at both sides on any given issue, but with this? Nah, it's totally on the irresponsible bells who pushed for all this in the UK.
