I think we all hope so.

Though I notice as the reality of the situation starts to come into focus some are clearly more kern to embrace 'project wishful thinking'.

I just think that most folk havnt a clue just how brilliant the global distribution supply system is; like most, until I was involved in it, I never gave it a second thought.

Trouble is, as brilliant as it is, (one bar code will get a packet of socks from China to me), its very very fragile.

It's a symptom of its success. People rarely five much thought to things that 'just work'..they take it for granted.

Remember during lock down when large parts of the UK didnt get a newspaper? Was due to some eco folk outside one printing press in London?

Folk were really annoyed. A newspaper ffs!

To be fair, I suspect most of the anger was because of who was doing the disrupting as much as the disruption itself. I bet those same angry people wouldn't be anywhere near as angry if/when Brexit disrupts things.

I’m pretty sure that Barnier will come to London, however after Boris had spoken a No 10 official Spokesman said...

“There is only any point in Michel Barnier coming to London next week if he's prepared to address all the issues on the basis of a legal text in an accelerated way, without the UK required to make all the moves or to discuss the practicalities of travel and haulage,"
"If not there is no point in coming."
He added: "Trade talks are over. The EU have effectively ended them by saying they do not want to change their negotiating position."

Now we shall see what happens....

How boringly predictable it's beyond parodying...
