Taking back control = the Tories doing whatever they want with no oversight at all.
Isn't that the very definition of taking back control ? lol

It depends if they come to an arrangement and what it will entail, at the moment its all hypothetical, you may be being concerned for no reason, and I doubt Pete will be able to address those concerns anyway, although he might have a go.
My understanding is that there are 5 times more EU visitors/workers coming to the UK than the other way round*, therefore it is in the EU's interest to have an arrangement for their citizens for visas and health costs being agreed is it not ? (and yes I know being a member meant it was already arranged).
There are so many things that are to be decided and we will have definite conformation about them in the next few months. At that point in time I suspect there will be rather a lot of posts in here

And yet those things have precisely no attention given to them as we waste time fluffing about something as relatively unimportant as fishing.

You said 'relatively unimportant' if that is the case why is the EU so up in arms about it ?
Cheers. I'm sure that capable Johnson has this covered and it's all project fear to sway opinion.Tell them to look here:

and the EU instructions are here: https://ec.europa.eu/info/sites/inf...nfo_site/notice_for_stakeholders_food_law.pdf
Another misleading article. Every port in Europe has one of these “lorry parks”, there referred to as Border Control Posts under EU 2017/625. There is 2, I believe, being built at Kent and Dover due to lack of space on the physical port site

I have absolutely no idea.
But have the government had the power to significantly expand all of these "lorry parks" without public oversight before?
so you might think it unimportant but the EU & UK think otherwise
Probably not, but I think that’s irrelevant because there’s certain ports in the EU doing the same I believe (Calais being one). The article is extremely misleading though, it suggests that there’ll be mass lorry parks up and down and the country, with queues of trucks and drivers waiting for clearance of the goods.
It cites panic
To be perfectly frank, as a layman, my belief is pretty much suspended in this context.you posted an article with a ‘headline’ within 5 minutes I posted 2 links from legislative bodies contradicting the article.
considering most posters hark on about all the lies that were told without anyone being pulled up on them, surely the same standard should apply in the opposite direction ? to do otherwise is hypocritical is it not ?
