Kinda underlines why we need the EU to protect us from the demagogues we have in government at the moment. The Tories won't be happy until we're Hungary with plum accents.
I respect the viewpoint of anyone that voted to remain, what I dont like is in so many posts on here that an opposing viewpoint is not worth of a bit of respect to the poster and his views and usually end up having some sort of insult thrown in for good measure.
Palinkas?
So the facts of the case affirmed a decision you had already made? So what, out of interest, did you base your initial decision on, the precedent from it?
Its a consequence of aligning yourself to the likes of Farage and Galloway and masterminded by Cummings, you take chances with that threesome...
Well yes, but saying 'Sovereignty' and citing legal cases about the nature of sovereignty normally implies that you understand the difference in how sovereignty can be gained or ceeded in law. I've talked about it before in this thread and it's largely been ignored, but it's not as simple as 'i lose my power' when talking about sovereignty and supranational institutions because as part of that institution we also gain sovereignty over the laws of other member states through our influence in the various governance mechanisms of the EU.I thought it was well known that European law superceeded UK law, if you are asking me to point out a particular time/article that 1st told me that then I cannot help you. I would ask if you were aware of this at all ?
Howver as has been repeatedly proved in this thread, simply saying ‘sovereignty’ doesnt really address the issue, by quoting that particular case I was hoping it would clarify the meaning and offer a proof. unfortunately for some posters, they havent quite grasped what I was trying to get across when I mentioned that case. probably my fault but am not gonna lose any sleep over it
And being in the EU stopped that?
but surely the opposite is true, remain voters are aligned with some contemptable figures as well ?
The EU are even now trying to stop the U.K. investing when and were it wishes as part of the FTA.....they hate the idea that we will outcompete them....
Maybe, cant think of any off hand, not in the field as Cummings et al. Anyway, comedy is subjective, however, always more effective when it punches upwards, Brexit won, expect mickey taking, its very culturally British.
