not really, the post was about denying access for future generations which I believed was incorrect and I asked for clarification.

considering the amount of posters questioning the falsehoods of brexit supporting voters the same standard should apply to those in the remain camp should it not ?

It matters though, because to do many things at the moment it is harder, and more expensive, than it was before. I work with several companies whose entire premise is to help professionals who are relocating overseas to navigate the visa process. That companies can make a living out of it suggests it's a sufficient pain in the 'arris for people to outsource it.

The country has made a decision, which is fine, but to date, all we're seeing are things that have become harder than they were before, and precious little that has become easier. So what is the point of it?

absolutely when it comes to dealing with the EU it is going to be a lot harder in nearly all circumstances for doing everything. In fact I cannot think of any scenario that something will be easier.

I respect the viewpoint of anyone that voted to remain, what I dont like is in so many posts on here that an opposing viewpoint is not worth of a bit of respect to the poster and his views and usually end up having some sort of insult thrown in for good measure.

blanket statements saying this is stopping or that is happening, are just noise that detracts from factual discussion. sometimes its good to ask what exactly a poster means, as the post he made does not exactly specify the issue he has other than an online spouting session

And the rest of the world. Triffic.

So I will ask again, what exactly, are you looking forward to most in a post brexit world?

I can't speak for other people, but for me personally, I don't expect Britain to return to the EU or anything of the sort, but in my own life, there are various interactions I have with the outside world, including the EU. At the moment, there's no indication that 'rest of the world' things have changed at all, and things involving the EU have become worse, harder, more expensive, or all three. Putting aside issues of identity or philosophy or whatnot, I suspect most people would like their lives to be made easier, and that simply isn't happening right now. If it was, I doubt many would be grumbling about Brexit being rubbish.

People were promised it would be easier and simpler though. And despite the "we all knew what we were voting for", that clearly isn't the case, as is currently being realised by a number of Tory MPs.

Joking aside anyone voting remain had every right to do so and I’m sure did so for a myriad of reasons , I also respect the result of that vote and have done so from the start despite occasionally being light hearted about it .

Being honest however I have significantly Less time or respect for those instrumental in the campaign who told lie after lie to achieve what they wanted , some preyed on fear and others were simply dishonest . Neither are attractive traits .

no, not sure why anyone would think it would.

you asked what I was looking forward to and I answered

So, you voted to leave the EU to allow the UK Government to invest in stuff, when the EU had nothing to do with that?

I mean I am looking forward to the football season and Christmas, but didnt vote Remain as a result.

But by your own admission, you don't have to look forward to it. You already have it and have had it during your time in the EU.

What thing that you didn't have as part of the EU, but do now after leaving it, are you looking forward to the most?

it appears that you are now jumping to the conclusion that is the reason that I voted leave which is an incorrect assumption.

and I can make an educated guess that your next question will be the standard one that gets asked in here ‘then why did you vote leave ?’ and my answer will be because of costa vs ENEL
