havent been in this thread in a while, more than enough going on here in the States.
Having read that library on Brexit, what's your take now, how will the UK fare in early January?

For sure there will be a lot of upheaval, and the current covid crisis will give people an excuse that need an excuse to give.

BTW - I would recommend out of that list of books the Jason Farrell - How to lose a referendum - no matter which side you voted for it is a very good book and you will have sympathy for the 'other side' no matter which way you voted (most of them you can tell which side the author was on, that book I have no idea, probably remain ?)

you try hard, but you really need to up your game here....
You're probably right. I just need to go straight to the angry name calling, pretending I'm a captain of industry, while talking like an apprentice contestant and copy and pasting from right wing mud rakers and Telegraph headlines.

Only then will I truly succeed at life....

You just need to be comfortable with what you are, a not very intelligent keyboard operator working at a low level. Then you might find real peace in the world. Throwing insults around as you do impresses no one, certainly not me. I’m comfortable with my retired life, gallivanting around the world Is fine when you are younger, but It’s much more relaxed and enjoyable now. I know what I have done, and you know what you haven’t. Probably best not to try and compete, you will only end up looking more foolish...but when has that ever stopped you......

Sorry I've riled you Pete. Off to bed and fantasize about being Churchill ruling an empire you've actually had no part in building.

This isn’t the most self aware comment is it?

Hes had his life and enjoyed it. And it'll be a cold day in hell before he agrees to allow anyone younger to enjoy theirs in the way that they want to. Disgraceful, selfish attitude.
