Oh I'm Irish mate so I'm grand

thats nice but I didnt ask what nationality you were, I enquired which countries are going to stop UK citizens visiting them as that was the implication of your post.

If that wasn’t the implication I apologise for my miss-reading of your statement and look forward to you clarifying what point it is you were trying to make

My post was a jab at the "I've had my fun, that's all that matters" energy of Piotr's post. I'm sure UK citizens will still be able to travel, get educated and live in other countries, albeit with a much greater degree of cost and difficulty. Which, now that you point it out, is a complete validation of Brexit, the most well conceived and fleshed out idea in the history of international politics.

so which country do you think you might want to visit in the future and why would you be stopped going there ?

That's a false question. It's not about stopping things from taking place. Like the tweet I shared from the Cabinet Office above your post, it's not a case that farmers won't be able to export to the EU any more, but it will be that bit harder to do so. For us in travel terms, it's like going to the US versus France. One requires no visa and once inside Schengen, no border checks. The other requires an esta form to have upon arrival, and 2 hour waits at the border. You can still travel to America, but it's costlier in both time and money to do so. And that's just when you travel. You also have free health insurance for the duration of your stay at the moment, can you use your mobile device as you would at home, and various other perks in Europe, none of which apply to your visit to the US.

Brexit was supposed to be about making things easier and better, but all I see are hurdles and extra expense.

indeed, you mentioned this previously (maybe a month or ao ago) and I asked which part of the worst case ‘form filling scenario’ you would find difficult to complete but you didnt bother to respond
I've done form filling for work visas in numerous countries. It involves time consuming and expensive trips to embassies in many cases. It involves visiting offices and queueing for hours in all cases. It is never free. It needs to be repeated every few months therefore it's always hanging over you and of you miss a renewal you can be fined. If you lose a passport you have to go through all kinds of nonsense to become legal again.
But that's all clearly your idea of a good time.

not really, the post was about denying access for future generations which I believed was incorrect and I asked for clarification.

considering the amount of posters questioning the falsehoods of brexit supporting voters the same standard should apply to those in the remain camp should it not ?
