And as you've asked, what has pissed me off about the whole affair is Farage treating people fleeing a life he could not even imagine as though they're an invading army. That this god awful government then think that [Poor language removed] of a man is worth replicating exacerbated things, only for the inexcusable media to turn up and create Refugee Street for our entertainment. It's a shameful way to behave, but as someone who is willing and able to hold the government to account, I'm sure you'll gladly look the other way, despite making a fortune selling the weapons that so destroy other countries.

No, it's Western countries bombing Afghanistan, Libya and Syria and not willing to face the consequences of their actions.

I would love you to provide some proof of this. If it's true then fair enough. But I really doubt it is. If you can share some links that would be great

What sort of life in France are they escaping. I thought you all believed that the EU was heaven on earth, or have I missed something.....how many refugees are going the other way ?

Well the life that refugees /migrants are escaping from in France are,
1. Festering wild campsites which are regularly raided and destroyed by the paramilitary gendarmerie.
2.continual papers checks and reporting to the police or social security offices.
3.living sans abri under the motorway and railway bridges in Paris and other big cities.
That's 3 things to start with.
I have met some of these migrants which have been rounded up in Paris or Calais and recycled to rural towns like ours.
Most want to go to England. Why?. They say "no papers no problem" and, "we get jobs, we get money, we get girls"
They have vision of eldorado. It is so sad.
