Lest we forget that the current retired generation not only enjoyed free university education, full EU membership, cheap housing, but they also enjoyed a triple lock pension and free care in their old age, all of which the younger generations no longer have.

Lest we forget that University education was very much restricted back in the day. Media Studies hadn’t been invented. I paid for my 4 kids to go there. The first little place I bought in the valleys of South Wales cost me 6 times my salary. I just checked the prices of properties in the same town and a house can be had for 4 or 5 times average salary. My triple lock pension comes from putting humongous amounts of money into the hands of HMRC, is a pittance to what I could have bought, and no one will be providing me with free care....Moan, moan, moan.....
