worldwide trade... not tied to EU regulations....

Like I asked, with who?

We have no trade deals with any major economy. Yet have lowered tariffs for imports to zero for all sorts.

The only deal the Tories seem obsessed bu is a US one, and to smooth that, they have removed our food standards and put our agricultural sector at risk.

Just absolutely terrific for UK manufacturers that.

Wernt you banging on about the UK needing to ramp up our own manufacturing industry in the Coronus thread?
Stop moaning, you can get a cheap xmas tree and a cheap fridge for the wife, Merry Crimbo in the Roydo household

I dont know, nor care.

But the UK voting to remove loads of food standards is more important to me.
It will be your choice to buy the food you want ....like me atm if I buy on e bay now the cheapest option for a household item is China so I boycott them and buy the unit double the price sometimes from the UK.....

We trade with the USA now plus other countries with the EU doing it on our behalf on the WTO .....

e Bay paid around £10M in tax in the UK last year on profits of over £1Bn. You would be doing more good by getting what you need elsewhere.

Nissan ... “Nissan bosses have delivered a vote of confidence in UK car making by announcing that the Sunderland plant will become the hub for production of core models - securing thousands of jobs in the North East - after confirming the closure of two other factories.

The Japanese firm says it will close plants in Barcelona, Spain, and Indonesia, as it sank into the red for the first time in 11 years after the coronavirus pandemic sent global demand plunging and halted production.

Nissan's chief executive Makoto Uchida said production in Europe will be centered at the British plant, as the brand reduces its global production and number of model offerings by 20 per cent by 2023.“........
