So anyway, now that we are going to negotiate a trade deal with the largest economy on the planet, the USA, I’m not even sure we will even have time to negotiate one with the EU, unless they realise we are not messing around anymore and pull their finger out To get one done. But on balance I’d rather have one with the USA anyway.......

The key point is that they refer to the remainder of 2020 (ie the transition period). They have no clue what will happen after 2020 as the British have removed any guarantee that the rights of students to expand their minds will be preserved after 2020.

It’ll be interesting to see how we best use this money and our International aid budget.We can of course just spend it on ourselves, as per the side of the bus, but investing it in developing additional trade will undoubtedly give the bigger payback, which can then be spent on ourselves....

Are you advocating investing in other countries in order that it might reap financial benefit?

Why on earth would you want that when they have literally walked away from our defense program which has been designed to plug into American military. They have literally left us high and dry and turned their backs on us. Leaving us unable to protect our assets abroad because of America first policy.
