I like how Petes chest-thumping dials up the closer to Brexit we get. At the end of it all, the autopsy will reveal he thumped straight through his heart, and that he bled Union Jack

It's almost Trump'like, how there's a sense of puffed up pride that is piqued by even the slightest insult. It's very strange and not how people or institutions confident in their position should behave.

I'm guessing that's because they need said exports. Sure they can go get it elsewhere in Europe right? Oh!

You think the UK will stop doing trade out of spite? Explain that to those who need it. Then good luck getting the millions (some off you bleat on about) that Ireland owes you. Threatening a country to get your way makes you a clowncar country.

Except that when we do new trade deals out in the big world we need a bit of 'give and take'. What we currently take from EU member states may well go to non EU countries as part of new trade deals.

Nobody is threatening anyone....

It’ll be interesting to see how we best use this money and our International aid budget. We can of course just spend it on ourselves, as per the side of the bus, but investing it in developing additional trade will undoubtedly give the bigger payback, which can then be spent on ourselves....

Not really Bruce, it’s just that I don’t like ungrateful people who also take the pish......I admit it’s a failing of mine....

About time as much though and comment was put in to the future rights of workers. Also the status of the 3.5M Continental Europeans living in the UK and the 1.5M British in the continent. That means on-going freedom of movement.
All we hear is about trade deals.
