So I see that the Irish MEP Martina Anderson, thought it a good idea to describe the U.K. as Perfidious Albion. Whatever happens in the future regarding our trading relationship, I just hope that we remember and point out sleights such as this. There seems to be a view that Ireland and Scotland can denigrate the U.K. on the public stage without any comeback. They can do and say anything and we will not respond. Times may be changing though......

We have a known liar as prime minister, who has put himself first. Seems quite an appropriate moniker.

Not really Bruce, Albion refers to our whole country. A country that has consistently done whatever it said it would do. A country that has followed every EU law. We have moved on from 2016. I am personally upset by people and countries who benefit financially from the U.K. but are continually slagging it off......

You're all for Boris making offhand comments about countries, but act like a little bish when we laugh at your utter clowncar country

Perhaps, but this little clowncar country takes an awful lot of your total exports......we will see who laughs at whom .....

I'm guessing that's because they need said exports. Sure they can go get it elsewhere in Europe right? Oh!

You think the UK will stop doing trade out of spite? Explain that to those who need it. Then good luck getting the millions (some off you bleat on about) that Ireland owes you. Threatening a country to get your way makes you a clowncar country.
