Absolutely. Given it's the union members subscriptions that fund the contributions to the LP that give the unions such a big say in the party leadership.

I was a union member for nearly 40 years and was never once asked to vote on the Labour Party leadership.

On today's politics live show Momentum did have a ballot for the leadership -
Long bailey yes or no so she will win it very democratic, but true .......

This is all very unpatriotic. My forefathers didn't fight in the war for you to find a Great British institution like Big Ben and the celebration of our freedom from the EU funny.

Next you'll be saying you don't think we should have a festival of Brexit!!

I donate my money where I see fit. I put my effort into things that will make a difference. A bell ringing in London will not make the slightest difference where I live.....

You should donate then as you feel so strongly about it. I do however have the greatest respect for your forefathers......

It's a symbol of our freedom from the tyranny of the EU, our Freedom Bell, our Liberty Bell; you may not hear it with your own ears but it's bong will resonate as a sign of Britain's reemergence to global dominance and the dawn of a New Empire.

Why would you hate any of that?
