lmao.. I'm pretty sure I've informed you of this, but the MPs that were elected ran on those manifestos, and those MPs still have to represent their constituents. Just because you didn't win the most seats in parliament doesn't mean you can ignore promises made in the manifesto you ran on! lol
It doesn't mean you stick to them in future either. lol

Elections are different to referendum, they are run under different legal guidelines.

Had the referendum been run under the same principles as a GE it would have been void lol lol
How so?

You're incredible naive if you think that a campaign can be run in which neither side tells a lie. If you disagree, please provide me with evidence of any past campaign in which a lie wasn't told. I'll wait. lol

This challenge was not upheld. The reasoning being:

In a binding referendum the result would be subject to the rules under the Representation of the People Act, which, due to the illegality of the Leave Campagin and the ongoing criminal prosecutions, would have made it void.

But as it is an advisory referendum, the law doesn't apply. Judge also noted that as a result of the manifesto pledge triggered by the GE, it effectively changed the status.

PM made the decision on the basis that the referendum was lawful and had the legal authority to do so by the 2015 Act, but...

'on reasonableness, having regards to what she knows now, it is unreasonable for PM to continue on the basis that the referendum was lawful and expressed the will of the people. That's why we don't need to show right to void result. Sufficient doubt as to legtimacy of referendum'
lol lol lol lol lol

lmao It absolutely does. In the future, up until at least the next election. lol lol lol lol lol
That's an odd conclusion to draw from what I have just quoted at you.

One vote, and the outcome of that vote does make a democracy, nor does any vote relating to Brexit. Democracy is the system not the vote itself. You cease to be a democracy if you are unable to adapt or respond to evidence based deliberation and facts.

I know you want YOUR vote honoured, but that is possibly the most simplistic notion of democracy you can ascribe.

And this nonesense about 'well it is in the manifesto' so we cannot renage on it is ludicrous as well. How many policies and manifesto promises have been ditched by this government?

Balancing the books by 2017, dementia Tax, “secure the entitlements of EU nationals in Britain and British nationals in the EU.”, electrifying northern rail line routes, increasing mental health funding in the NHS. All gone despite being manifesto pledges.

Bring back taxing Dementia sufferers because @Joey66 says it's the will of the people!
Manifestos mean absolutely nothing...

Well, manifestos mean something in that it's what the party ran on.. promises made by the party to those who voted for them. I don't know why you've chosen to die on this hill, bud. You could simply have said earlier, "Yes, Labour lied and are breaking promises made to the people who voted for them." I did give you a chance earlier to admit this, but you persisted. lol lol lol lol

lol lol lol lol lol
What I said still stands though, noodle brain. lol Lies are told in every campaign. If you disagree, I'll be more than happy to look at any evidence you have. Just show me ONE previous campaign in which not even a single lie was told... lol lol lol

raw

Oh, and despite overspending, Remain still spent £6m more than Leave, and that's before you include government tax-funded leaflets that promoted Remain. lol

Labour lied because they promised to compromise on Brexit and negotiate a deal to take the UK out of the EU? Their policy is still to secure a deal.

In any event they aren't breaking any promises, because as we've highlighted, Manifestos are a statement of intent and not legally binding. If they aren't legally binding on the government, then they are most definitely not binding on the opposition.

They've lied because not only have they failed to compromise on a Deal, but they've done - and continue to do - everything in their power to stop Brexit.

Hold on, you can't break a promise if said promise is not legally binding? lol lol I'm not sure you've thought that statement through.

They aren't in government.

And, I can't help but feel that your, what seems like increasing anger, might be helped (hopefully) by just reading this, so you don't have to have me explain it to you. Just read it yourself:

They don't need to be in government, they simply need to be in parliament and to vote.

lol My anger? Says the guy who started crying because I used italics in a couple of words. lol lol lol You like these smilies, don't ya bud?

Yes, a second referendum is very much against delivering Brexit, and it's very much against "trusting the people" as it says on that webpage I linked earlier.
