I don’t claim to understand the way things work but in my humble opinion I think you’re view is slightly skewed. The Eu haven’t budged, it’s boris who has made concessions, he hasn’t made the eu open up to discussion at all, he’s backed down and has tried to sell it to the gullible once again.
lol Understatement of the year.

Anyway, as we all know, Boris Backdown told Leo Varadkar at their meeting in Cheshire that he was ready to accept NI alignment with the Single Market which was the catalyst for the ensuing negotiations which led to the deal. Suddenly the door was open. Claiming it as some sort of great victory for him is laughable.

When will people like you understand this isn’t about winners and losers ?
When will people like you accept the result of the referendum? It sickenened me when I heard one of the protesters in London ask how can the views of so many people be ignored. I believe it was around 1 million. I wonder how many of them voted in the referendum? My guess is that many were too young to vote in 2016 and many didn't bother.

Well its a bit more complicated than you perhaps considered. The fact that some leavers have voted to not leave, cos its not what they want, and some leavers have voted to leave, cos its ok, might be a clue.

It's a bad deal, I hope it does not pass, no deal is the best deal, short term disruption for long term prosperity.

Can people not see how the EU will have to make good trade deals with us ASAP, look how they've opened up the negotiations right at the end when it was said they were always going to cave at the final hour, it's how they do their deals, squeeze and squeeze then give back a bit at the end to get the deal done.

Boris could have got more out of them as the DUP have said, he should have kept his powder dry a little longer.

What's the basis for your view that the UK will enjoy "long term prosperity"? Can you point to anything tangible to support this?

Everyone in the UK now knows more about the whole Brexit issue. A second vote would see a more informed choice? How can asking the (same) people be anti-democratic?

Read my posts... I have accepted the decision ... i would rather leave with my eyes open, informed and with a clear direction going forward.... not led like a thick sheep unable to think for yourself

Don’t you think the ones who were too young 3 years ago should now have a say ? They are the ones who are going to be affected by this

If it was possible that only those who voted in the original referendum be given a "People's" vote (nor sure who voted in the Referendum if it wasn't people) then I have no problem with that. But of course that wouldn't be the case.

Eh? It would be the same constituent body. Surely you cant deny that everyone now has more info to hand?

About the same time that people like you accept that a single, unified 'Leave' position of any substance hasn't won anything and that the causes of all the delays have been the petty squabbles since about what Leave means, because it was purposely made obscure in 2016 to attract as wide support as possible.

'Leave' wasn't a plan, it was a protest. And like all politics of protest, it's fallen down at the first sign of having to be implemented.

And incidentally, for someone like me it's tough to knuckle down and just accept the result, because something driven by such regressive xenophobic views runs entirely counter to my worldview and ideology. It's like asking someone to just accept living under a theocracy not of their own religion and be happy about it.

I don't deny there is more information. It's basically the same sort of information given during the run up to the referendum. Were you pushing for a GE when we had more information about WMD during the Blair administration or were you too young to vote?
