Checkmate here @KurtI) It's not what I voted for in 1974
2) There was a referendum
3) Leave won
They might not be good enough reasons for you but they are for me.

Have you noticed how Sterling improved following the news of the proposed deal? That's not guess work it's fact.
Interesting. What caused the change in your opinions. Are you sure that it had nothing to do with the tory driven austerity.I am in the age group that voted to join the EEC in 1974, and the age group that has grandchildren, some of whom are old enough to understand, and accept, democracy. I voted to join in 1974 and there was no outcry by those who voted to not join. We joined and had to wait 42 years to change our minds. There is nothing you can say that will change my opinion so just move on to someone else.
You can go back as far as you like. Me, I'm only going back to 2016. Remember that? We, as in the majority of those who voted, decided we wanted to leave the EU. We are still waiting for our wishes to be carried out.How far back are we going?

Who wants a job ? 40 hours a week walking around the country’s graveyards taking votes ... dead good money

How old are you?So voting in '74 suggests you're probably retired now?
Serious question - if you're any two of being white, overweight and slightly bitter about life - you win a prize in the Brexit Bingo game! All three and it's a fast track to the grand final!!
