Tony Blair has been over advising the EU how to engineer a reversal, so has Corbyn, Sturgeon etc by the Trainload. The Tory Party, in government, campaigned for Remain, as did all parties other than UKIP. The U.K. voted to leave. The Tory government promised to deliver on the vote. They didn’t pluck this out of thin air, they just promised to deliver on the Democratic will of the people of the U.K. Your mob just ignored the vote and continue to do so. This is why the parties opposed to Brexit will not allow a GE, because they know that the people will throw them out because of their absolutely disgraceful and anti-Democratic shenanigans......

You seem to not understand that the onus isn't on the EU to give anything. So they won't. Instead, they are accommodating the UK to make suggestions as to how they'll meet the EUs red lines.

That's all that is happening. This isn't a negotiation in terms of give and take. It never was.

They did with the original UK backstop deal, it was knocked back by May from her red lines and making the whole UK leave the CU, they then compromised with the NI-only backstop, again knocked back by the ERG/DUP headbangers, now they're trying their best to find a deal that compromises on Johnson's insane double border/customs logistical nightmare 'deal'

Again you fail to see that the UK had no position to start with to undermine. This whole thing was propped up by people believing that the EU would cave in to our every wish. It was never going to happen.

You can campaign for the nuclear option of no deal but is it worth dismantling our union for? That is the vote brexiteers should be pushing for if they want it so badly. Then it can go to the people do you understand what will happen if we leave and whatever way that flies is the way to go.

No one campaigned to break up the UK in the process and people should have a say on that.

The Brexit question was totally unthought through. It's like me saying I want to blast off in a rocket with Cindy Crawford, Jet from Gladiators and Natalie Portman to live on Mars in a room that only has one bed. As much as I want that and believe it will change my future for the better, I also understand that the negotiations may prove to insurmountable and the other parties might not have the same interest in the project as I do.

Largely correct, but with FoM, frictionless trade, they have large influence and power over member states policy. We've seen the migrant crises, economic impacts of unmanaged migration, trade and taxation, welfare issues
