You can’t have it both ways Peter. NI voted to Remain and what you mean is that the deal wasn’t acceptable to the DUP who were ignoring the democratic mandate of their own province.

....in respect of migration, I would point out the Governments abject management of non-EU citizens. Controls are in place, but it doesn’t stop them coming and it doesn’t stop them staying. If people think Brexit will result in strict control of EU citizens, I expect they’ll be disappointed with the reality.

Just got back from a few days in Budapest surrounded by a few hundred inspiring young people from across Europe, and "where do you come from?" didn't come up once. Quite sad to be reminded of the little Englander mentality tbh.
