I think I said on the other thread that getting any deal through the ERG will be very difficult. For the viability of any potential future for the Conservative Party you feel they need to show some unity and get the deal through, but at present any such humility and intellect has been sadly missing from that lot.

Johnson has burnt his bridges with Labour too, so they will not vote with the deal.

I suspect his deal falls and he resigns.

I have no idea how this is likely to play out right now mate. If the ERG are split on it it's difficult to see how Johnson gets it done.

I still see no deal an extension and then a GE.

Sorry, I read it to mean in the context of controlled immigration which we have always had.....think Joe meant a complete free for all.
