Indeed. Similar to my experience. But the nuance is that millions of non racist, non ultra right wing folk, had their collective buttons pressed by folk who are either both, or stand to gain massively from leaving with no deal.
Certainly, buttons were pressed by people who stood to gain from the shambles that will ensue, again in all four nations. I apologise for being a left leaning unionist lol.

Not really, many of these EU trade deals are actually with quite small economies. The bigger ones such as Japan, Canada will get rolled over and new free trade deals with the likes of the USA, Australia, NZ, Mercosur et al will follow. We are not as big as the USA, EU, China or Japan, but these apart, the U.K. economy is bigger than every other country in the world, so I’m not quite sure why you think we will be unable to get decent deals....
Truss was on tv last week, and near two thirds of the 70 odd trade agreements the EU have with other counties have already agreed to role them over if the UK leaves , not sure how big those counties are which would be of interest.

I have no idea if that is true. But at the end of the day, if so, the deals were agreed with us as a member of the EU. So, if for example, one was renegotiated, cos of new green issues or sommet, would we have to follow?

Hopefully @nsno-chris might help.

hahahaha.....I really hope that this is just some form of joke... does this Pillock not understand that millions of small business owners and one man bands have absolutely no contact with the EU and never will. How will it affect the guys who do my garden, or the lads who clean the windows, or my wife’s shop that has zero contact either through supplies or sales to the EU. The EU is a small part of our economy, and does not affect 90% of our businesses and people. It will not just disappear anyway, because on the day we leave we become the EU’s single biggest trading partner.....talk about project fear......

You have zero clue what you're talking about. You aren't expressing an opinion; you are simply talking nonsense.

If you can't make an argument based on even the tiniest amount of fact, then shut up.

The state of this. How the hell has this nonsense been allowed to be listened to.

Do the "guys" who do your garden use lawnmowers, weed repellants, tools? Do they eat? Drink? Do they buy goods in the UK?

The goods your wife sells - are they bought from/made by other businesses? Given 50%+ of our trade is with the EU, that's pretty bloody likely. Does she use electricity? Gas?

Then they'll be affected then won't they ffs.

Brain. Use it sometimes.

Sick and tired of this crap.

Just stop it with the facts and the objective reality check.

We had an Empire, we want to take back control, Rule Britannia, Leave means Leave, they need us more than we need them.

What a way to enter the actual trade deal. I actually believe many people especially in leave, think that what is supposedly being negotiated is actually the end of our relationship with the EU...

Now IFS are warning of no deal... Leavers get very uptity about accusations of their reasoning ,however, repeating the same mistake is the definition of stupidity.

"The EU is a small part of our economy"

LMAO

Maybe in your rather unique household.

I reckon, although I have never actually done it properly, that probably 70% of the stuff in my van tomorrow will be imported into the UK, via trade deals as part of the UK, or directly from the EU.

In fact, its probably higher.

No mate, but I have been right about the shambolic way we negotiated early on and then allowed parliament and the Remainers to effectively remove any chance of a sensible deal. So here we are facing No Deal. Our headless chickens at Westminster will be crapping themselves, but Boris is playing a really bad hand of cards as well as anyone could........
*Johnson.

Not wanting to share that cake Brexiteers promised us, the easiest trade ever to be constructed, eating it all yourselves in la la land.

In the absence of German car manufacturers putting the squeeze on Merkel t make a deal, in the absence of Champagne producers putting the squeeze on Macron et al.

You lot are more than welcome in having a big told you so. Time to grow up and own this mess you lot have created.

Here is one intended for the funny thread...View attachment 68331

yet, we are still the 5th biggest economy......
