Truss was on tv last week, and near two thirds of the 70 odd trade agreements the EU have with other counties have already agreed to role them over if the UK leaves , not sure how big those counties are which would be of interest.

Oh good, I guess everything is fine then.

She needs the billion per month to prop up her banks .......that bill will be paid for the Benn act has tied our hands will be remembered in a GE next time - well done a no deal Brexit then more likely ........
You see nothing wrong with the tone of that poster @Joey66? What have the wars of last century got to do with this negotiation? Why the term 'kraut'? You okay with that?

Pathetic.....

I didn't say that you wont be able to get decent deals, I just think that any negotiations on trade deals will be framed by how the deal effects the EU. Therefore you're position out of the EU will be weaker. You could well be just as reliant on the EU as you are now but with no voice.
You're voluntarily taking yourselves out of the category with the US, China, India and possibly Japan and put yourselves in with Brazil, Canada, Australia etc.

Similarly the EU position included the U.K., I totally accept that we will be smaller, but guess what, so will the EU....

I ignore posters like that posting war related things you misunderstood my post I never condoned that post just that the German Chancellor will enjoy our billion a month funds if an extension takes place for a no reason we need a deal as we are hemorrhaging funds which should be deducted from the 38 billion.....in the pay off....

At what point does everybody realise that Brexit was never ever about taking back control and instead about the rich getting a lot richer? Like we are deep in to 2019 now lads, the cards are on the table. It's perfectly fine to be wrong sometimes, just you know admit to it and fix it before we end up royally f***ing ourselves and our children's futures.

it’s never been about money for me......

Right! You seem to be quite a sensitive chap on occasion, so I assumed you'd call the bigots out who put that poster together. I suppose you can be ignorant of these things, as you said, when the narrative goes a particular way?

yes it will but it will still be 5 times larger than the UK meaning that any trade deal any country does with the UK will be framed by the effect it has on the EU.
And given UK obstructionism, a good trade deal with the EU is looking less and less likely.
Any trade deal with the US is going to depend on a Democratically held house.
You're practicing isolationist economics and relying on a conman who's about to be impeached.

and yet, whatever happens we will do ok.......do not underestimate our ability to turn things around and progress.......
